Meet us
Who we are
Kristin Anderson
Welcome to InnerRoot physical therapy. My name is Kristin Anderson PT, DPT, OCS, CLT and I am the owner of InnerRoot Physical Therapy. I am so glad you are here.
You are welcome to come as you are.
I started InnerRoot Physical Therapy to share my passion and expertise in treating the entire self when working with physical pain. There is a greater depth of healing that can occur when treatment encompasses the interconnectedness of our bodies, physical and mental! I am here to guide you and help you heal.
I graduated in 2010 from St. Louis University with a Doctorate in physical therapy, and have been pursuing and developing several areas of expertise ever since. I began my practice at the University of Chicago participating in acute care, ranging from burns and wounds to oncology and inpatient orthopedics. I completed an orthopedic residency, an intense year of clinical work with orthopedic doctors, research and mentorship. To deepen my oncology treatment skills I completed a clinical lymphedema therapist certification. As my knowledge deepened in orthopedics and oncology, I kept thinking I was still missing a big piece of my treatment puzzle. I then began my own journey into pelvic health treatment and in 2015 became a pelvic health physical therapist. I am deeply passionate about my profession and grateful to work with each person who comes into my practice. I am so grateful to be able to treat you!
Outside of my practice, I most value spending time with my husband and two children. My husband and I work out together in the morning and then get our kids ready for school or, my personal favorite, taking them on an adventure. I love hiking and exploring and our family loves to ski, hike, bike and swim together. I have an extreme passion for cooking and eating delicious food as well as sharing a meal with others. My husband and I are constantly doing house and property renovations (we survived living in a tiny studio while gutting and renovating our entire house while having two children!) and we love doing life and community with our friends.
I cannot wait to meet you.
Sincerely,
Kristin Anderson PT, DPT, OCS, CLT
Samantha Stahl
Samantha graduated from Medical College of Georgia with her Masters in PT in 2001. She started her career in pediatrics, first doing early intervention and then opening her own clinic in 2003. She clinic provided physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to patients from ages 4 weeks and up. While treating kids, she realized that there was a something missing in the treatment provided to their busy moms. That awareness, coupled with her own struggles of hip and pelvic floor issues, started her down a new career path. She began treating pelvic health for women as well as pediatrics. As part of the journey she was trained by Diane Lee in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) in 2017. She is also highly trained in visceral manipulation.
She moved to Denver in 2019 to continue to pursue these new endeavors (as well as escape the Georgia humidity and soak up the Colorado sunshine!)
In her free time, you might find her in front of a mixer (making cookies!), on a yoga mat or maybe out for a jog. She doesn’t hit the pavement like she used to but will always consider herself a runner at heart.
Jenny Hladun is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Colorado-Denver in 2015 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to this she worked as a Microbiologist until deciding to pursue a career in which she could work more closely with people. Since graduating, she has been working with patients who sustained spinal cord and brain injuries at Craig Hospital. She is now completing her residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy through Regis University. She has additional experience working in geriatrics, acute care, pelvic floor, and is Functional Dry Needling trained. Jenny feels one of her greatest strengths is connecting with people and walking beside them in their healing journeys.
Jenny has two amazing children, a very supportive husband, and two dogs, named Tater Tot and Spud. When she has free time, she loves to travel both locally and internationally, gardening, cooking, and spending time in the mountains.
